What is the process of a
Morpheus8 Microneedling Treatment?
The day of treatment you arrive about 45 minutes before the treatment in order to have numbing cream applied. Once the cream has taken effect, it is removed and that area is cleaned. The microneedles extend and penetrate your skin at various depths ranging from 1 to 4mm. The depth is set according the area being treated. Once the needle reaches the desired depth, the gold-plated tips deliver a pulse of RF energy deep into the dermis layer or the fat layer (depending of penetration depth).
When the body senses heat and injury to the dermis, it initiates a wound-healing response. That in turn stimulates remodeling to all existing collagen in the area and begins the production of new collagen. Collagen provides the skins structural support latticework and this tightens the skin and the increased collagen continues to improve the results over time.
